S26-01: Bucknell Mental Health Training Act
Resolution Summary: The resolution calls upon Bucknell to mandate all Junior Fellows, Residential Fellows, and Residential Advisors to go through QPR suicide training with the purpose of making them better equipped for dealing with potential mental health issues from residents. It will also allow for students suffering from mental health issues to be put in contact with mental health resources more quickly. Lastly, it encourages other peer mentorship roles, as well as faculty and staff, to go through the training and to better equip themselves. The policy would go into effect beginning in the 2026-27 Academic Year. Resolution was proposed by BSG VP of Administration Philip Domagalski.

S26-02: School Spirit in Athletics Act
Resolution Summary: This resolution calls upon Bucknell to have the televisions in the Elaine Langone Center’s student space, Bison, and Bostwick Marketplace display Bucknell varsity sports games and events on days they play in an attempt to bolster school spirit around the teams. Additionally, Bucknell will display daily programming on these televisions involving different marquee sports games and other newsworthy events. Resolution was proposed by BSG VP of Administration Philip Domagalski.

S26-03: Dining and Custodial Staff Appreciation Initiative
Resolution Summary: This resolution is to fund and distribute gift/treat bags to all dining and custodial staff. Gifts include stickers (400), buttons (400), tabling events for student-made thank you notes, notebooks (252), Chapstick (250), Hershey kisses bags (3), Starburst bags (4), and Hand Sanitizer (250). It also calls for appreciation cork boards to be placed in five locations on campus: The Bison, The Bostwick Marketplace, 7th Street Cafe, Bertrand Library, and MacDonald Commons. This includes the funding of materials necessary to fulfill the corkboard’s purpose, such as Command Hooks (7), sticky notes (36), markers (6), and the corkboards (6) themselves. S26-04: Weeks of Welcome Funding Resolution
Resolution Summary:This resolution calls for the Student Government to allocate $50,000 to the CAP Center’s “Weeks of Welcome” large-scale events in the first eight weeks of the next academic year. This allocation will be moved from the surplus found in the current student activities fund. This resolution is to be reviewed by the student government after a one-year trial period. Lastly, it calls for any funds not used to be returned to the student government. Resolution was proposed by Class of 2029 President Graiden Allen.

S26-05: Bison Thrift Resolution
Resolution Summary: This resolution calls for the student government to fund the Bison Thrift Store for its first-year of operations. The thrift store will provide a space for affordable second-hand clothing and small dorm essentials while promoting sustainability on-campus. The total amount funded is $4,205 to cover personnel expenses, startup expenses, and annual operational costs necessary to ensure the successful operations of the store. All unused funds will be returned to the student government. Resolution was proposed by the Sustainability Committee Chair/Rep. Elliott Kilgallen.

S26-06: Bison Thrift Sustainability Committee Bylaw Change
Bylaw Summary: This bylaw targets 1.S3.I10.6 of the Bucknell Student Government Constitution. It enshrines the Bucknell Student Government’s Sustainability Committee’s duties in overseeing the Bison Thrift Store on campus. This includes coordinating meetings with relevant personnel and seeing that it is continuously developed and improved. It also emphasizes that from here on out, the thrift store is described as a “core sustainability initiative” and thus is considered a standard responsibility for all members of the committee. S26-07: Academic Flexibility Resolution
Resolution Summary: This resolution makes it so that all professors are automatically copied on the email notifying people of a student’s academic flexibility. This makes it so that students don’t have to email their professors individually. Additionally, it reaffirms that the students and faculty will individually determine specific, including academic, accommodations. Lastly, it encourages that the requirement for students to fill out these forms be made optional rather than mandatory. Resolution was proposed by the Advocacy Committee Chair/Rep. Shaheryar Asghar.

Resolution Summary: This resolution seeks to ensure that the graduation ceremony is shown in places across campus for staff. This includes procurement for securing the appropriate arrangements to display the ceremony. Examples of such locations are, but not limited to, the Bostwick Marketplace and the Bison. S26-09: Earth Week Funding Resolution
Resolution Summary: This resolution allocates $85.00 worth of funding to the Sustainability Committee in support of their Earth Week events from April 20th to April 24th, 2026. Specifically, it procures $50.00 for materials at the 7th Street Makerspace and $35.00 for their showing of “The Lorax” at World’s End Coffee Company. Shared Governance Policy Vote of Confidence
Vote of Confidence Summary: This vote was to reaffirm the new shared governance policy that came up via the external committee on shared governance. This policy will add more connection between the university administration, students, and faculty. The vote of confidence was proposed by BSG President Ava Kuehn and Class of 2028 Vice President Brennan Lane.

S26-10: Affinity Housing Resolution
Resolution Summary: This resolution calls for Residential Education and Housing Services, in collaboration with affinity leaders, to establish and enforce minimum expectations and requirements around students respecting their affinity house’s established theme. Additionally, it calls for there to be a transparent dialogue for receiving and addressing student concerns related to community engagement and inclusivity. It calls for poor conduct from students failing to meet those expectations to be taken seriously and addressed in a timely manner, and if more than three substantiated complaints, a formal review process be initiated for the student in question. This would lead to the establishment of punitive action, including the potential for removal from the affinity house, or a ban on eligibility for affinity housing in future years. Such actions will be made by the Community Director, House Advisor, and Affinity House Student Leader. Finally, it reaffirms that affinity houses remain intentional, inclusive, and aligned with their missions as outlined in their submission process. S26-11: Housing Accommodations Resolution
Resolution Summary: This resolution attempted to place people with similar accommodations into apartments with other people who have similar accommodations. It would limit selection to those with similar needs, and in some instances would provide a survey, similar to the Freshman Roommate Survey. It was meant to preserve the integrity of housing selection, provide equitable distribution of apartments, and instill clear communication in the housing process. The resolution failed its initial vote over concerns with the proposed policy, and has been tabled, barring changes to the resolution until the 2026-27 Bucknell Student Government’s First Congressional Session. Resolution Summary: This resolution would see students be able to access course syllabi in advance of course registration, so that they can make better-informed decisions. Furthermore, the resolution requests that the Teaching and University Curriculum Committee and Academic Planning Advisory Group jointly explore the feasibility of a university-wide archive for course syllabi that is available to students and updated regularly.
